GW Rockette will be bred to QR Marc in 2008 (via frozen semen) for a 2009 foal. The coming three-year-old colt is a son of international champion *Marwan Al Shaqab. In 2006 he was the Region 14 Champion Yearling Colt and the U.S. Reserve National Champion Sweepstakes Colt. The *Marwan Al Shaqab cross with the Gold Wood Farm mares has been extraordinary, resulting in one double national champion and several important exportations to the Middle East. This cross with QR Marc, a colt of extraordinary type and quality, should be exceptional.
