GOLD WOOD FARM IS CELEBRATING ITS
VERY FIRST HOME-BRED MULTI-NATIONAL
CHAMPION … STAR OF MARWAN.
A daughter of the multi-International Champion and superb sire, *Marwan Al Shaqab, and the beautiful GW Natorious Star, STAR OF MARWAN was named both the 2007 Canadian National and the 2007 U.S. National Champion Futurity Filly. The first GOLD WOOD FARM National Champion was PS Bey Elation (Bey Shah x VP Elation) and she too was Canadian and U.S. National Champion Futurity Filly. The second GOLD WOOD FARM National Champion was Little Liza Fame (Fame VF x Katahza), a Canadian National Champion Futurity Filly and the U.S. Reserve National Champion Western Pleasure Junior Horse. Little Liza Fame was subsequently exported to the Middle East and went on to international notoriety as the dam of the great *Marwan Al Shaqab. In the early 1990s, the GOLD WOOD FARM superstar was the fabulous black mare, NV Natasham (Bey Shah x Forteynette), Canadian National Champion Futurity Filly, U.S. Reserve National Champion Futurity Filly and Canadian Reserve National Champion Open Mare, as well as a multi-Top Ten Halter Mare in the United States. NV Natasham is the grand dam of Star of Marwan.
